Andreas Mladek - "The Artist"
Andreas Mladek was educated in Europe and apprenticed in Berlin where he studied design and worked with stained and leaded glass techniques from 1978. Since immigrating to Canada in 1988, he has learned the techniques for etching and sandblasting glass. He has worked for architects, interior designers, church officials, goverment representatives, builders and private individuals all over Vancouver's lower mainland. His experience and diversity are those of the true craftsman who designs, creates and installs to meet your requirements and specifications. As well as it enables Andreas to work with designers in the capacity of a consultant and teacher of his craft.
Creative Glass Art is an established art glass studio in Kelowna (formerly located in North Vancouver), where Principal designer Andreas Mladek designs and creates art glass for homes, churches, offices and stores.
